"Greetings from the Benefit reunion chairman, I am pleased to announce some of our plans for the 2012 Benefit reunion concert. Our past 3 years have been a wonderful experience raising money and awareness for our local cancer center. The Trumbull Memorial Foundation is currently inactive due to restructuring at the hospital. This year we have a new beneficiary, The St. Joseph Cancer center on Eastland in Warren, Ohio. The Mother of Mary foundation has sanctioned our donation effort and we will be honoring them this year with our fund raising. Peigi and John Timmons will be assisting us this year. Their father, Dr. Timmons helped found the Warren General Hospital. The Benefit will be held again at Up A Creek in Howland, Ohio on Sat. Sept. 1, 2012. We are planning an extravaganza of local and national talent. We are moving the time up to avoid the mid-day heat. So, we will begin the festivities around 4PM. We will again feature many of the local musicians as well as BBQ courtesy of our gracious host Mark Matash, owner of Up A Creek. Our friend and loyal supporter, TJ Taylor has been appointed to be in charge of all financial and funds handling. Thx, TJ. All musicians wanting to participate and donate your time and talent please contact Tommy McCoy at email@example.com This year promises to be a huge event and we appreciate everyones help and cooperation to ensure a successful fund raising effort. Howland class of 1967 is coordinating their 45 year class reunion with us this year. Welcome! The Labor Day weekend promises to be a music filled holiday starting with Doug Thomas and the Sonic Boomers at the AMP on Fri. Aug. 31, then Up A Creek on Sat. Sept. 1, BBQ benefit fest with many local musicians and bands featuring The Holes In The Road. We are also waiting to confirm if we will have a national act at McMenameys on Sunday sept. 2. Mariano Longo is looking into the possibility. He will be sponsoring The Buckinghams there the following week. Final details will develop as we progress. Any and all help and assistance is gladly welcomed. Stay tuned for the Line-up of talent featured this year. Musically Yours, Tommy McCoy" Any questions can also be sent to Madam Weez (Tommy's Ohio Liason, as he says) at firstname.lastname@example.org Always look forward to this big 'hippie fest' for a great Local Cause!!
