After years of working the clubs in and around NYC with various bands, I contacted my friend Major Matt Mason USA, the mind behind NYC's Olive Juice distro, about some off-the-cuff recording sessions. I wanted to go into OJ studios without any pre-planned material, and come out each day having written, arranged, and done most of the major tracking for a song. Not only did it work, it became my most fulfilling work to date, giving me a chance to explore many sides of my songwriting persona. ...

Hey peeps. Watching Swingtown. A very grown up show. Basically it's playing like The Ice Storm, at series-length pacing. But it seems good and it has Molly Parker in it, who was so fantastic on Six Feet Under and Deadwood. The music's dead-on '70's corpse-frottage, but it dresses the scenes deftly, so it's okay.
