HISTORY OF THE TRADE Formed at the University Of Kent in early 2009 and drawing influence from The Cribs, Biffy Clyro and Tubelord, HOTT aim to produce hard hitting alternative rock combined with light hearted indie fun. Playing to 1,500 people at their first gig, local radio DJ Jamie Stephens proclaimed; "they've just blown all the other bands out of the water." H.O.T.T. released their first self titled E.P with Pink Floyd engineer Andy Jackson in the summer of 2009, which garnered praise from Manchester rockers Nine Black Alps amongst others. Followed by a download only single "You Found: Moon" which received airplay on BBC 6 Music Introducing. Since then History Of The Trade have supported underground indie heroes Tubelord, Elephants, Rock Sound Magazine cover stars Futures, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, British rock legends Feeder and mainstream pop royalty Florence and The Machine. This exposure has lead to a growing national fan base and demand for their second EP '6ix Hurdles' which has also featured on BBC Kent Introducing. ---- THE STAGS The Stags are a London based Rock band which was formed in early 2011. The Stags unique and raw sound consists of an energetic fuse of joyful melodies and lyrics of everyday life in London, sung by Finney’s soulful voice. The Stags recorded the EP, THE STAGS OF LONDON, which consists of the tracks “Save The Tears”, “Marks On Your Fists”, and “Tonight. ---- WAR ELEPHANT War Elephant are a London based duo formed by Shaun O’Reilly and George Heslop during the summer months of 2010. War Elephant was born out of a frustration to create something that felt meaningful and raw. Their songs are stripped down and acoustic with a variety of influences ranging from blues to folk to rock. ---- TINY BIRDS Tiny Birds splice indie-folk sounds with classic pop songwriting throughout debut album, Hymns for the Careless. Its eight tracks are short, sweet and relentlessly endearing, suggestive of good indie stock like Hefner, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, The Wave Pictures and Port O’Brien. ---- MORE INFO COMING SOON!!...
