Tinsel Korey's music is as diverse as her artistic mediums. Singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, musician and painter. Tinsel constantly strives to push the envelope working to improve her craft and searching for inspiration with new outlets to express her artistry.
Tinsel has worked on numerous films and television shows, from Steven Spielberg's mini-series "Into the West”, Scott Frank's (Minority Report) feature thriller "The Lookout", starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and acting opposite Adam Beach in the CTV MOW "Luna: The Way Home". Ending off 2007 with a recurring role on Chris Haddocks "Intelligence” and Global TV's “The Guard”.
She was very honored to be a part of the 2008 National Aboriginal Achievement Awards, where she got to share the stage with Derek Miller, Jason Burnstick, and Jana just to name a few.
An artist to the core, Tinsel holds great pride in her work and performances breaking casting stereotypes and creating a diverse work of musical compositions.
She will be back in the studio this year, completing her debut c.d. set to be released Fall 2008, and will release an acoustic EP this summer.
