Amber Spyglass @ 2pm, Waltham Common Steampunk City is a living exhibit to the artistic and cultural movement that fuses old-fashioned style with modern-day technology. The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, which has hosted a series of exhibitions called “Steampunk: Form and Function,” is the host of the weekend, which will feature art, dance and film in the steampunk style, performers dressed in dramatic steampunk costumes, and even specials at city restaurants inspired by the movement. Many of the weekend’s events will be free; others will require the purchase of a Steampunk City button in order to get admission.
