This Last Breath cites a wide range of rock influences, from Blink-182 and Rise Against to Four Year Strong.

This Last Breath quickly moved into the Detroit rock show neighborhood, not bypassing the larger, well-known venues such as St. Andrew's Hall, the Majestic Theater, and the Emerald Theater. The band has spent time sharing the stage with touring acts such as The Wonder Years, The Material and Versus The Ocean.

Their first full-length album, entitled "Burn The Summer," was independently released on February 28, 2009. It was produced by Jan Calo of Envisual Studios. The combination of catchy melodies, gang vocals, and witty lyrics define the album as the new age of pop/punk-meets-hardcore.
