After starting out in downtown Hull, UK; The Smallvilles rose to the top of the alternative rock scene in 2008 with their debut release, The EP, which was soon followed with an Acoustic EP, both of which sold out in a matter of days.

The band's debut full-length album, Seeyalatersophie... juxtaposes Ace's gritty vocal narratives with driving percussion and experimental instrumentation to assemble another collection of retro-inspired post-hardcore concoctions.
