I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago with time well spent in the city among friends dancing to classic house music until my older brother returned from Europe in the early 80s introducing me to groups such as THE CURE, Echo & The Bunnymen, Ministry, NIN, Front 242 etc.

It was not until I relocated to ATL that I discovered that I had an interest in Hip Hop. My younger brother, Troy and my girlfriend, now my wife ,turned me on to Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, KRS1 and later on, OUTCAST. After listening to the innovative sound of Outcast and their progression into the mainstream with Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre, did I realize I wanted to mesh the alternative with the mainstream sound of hip hop.

Today, although I recently completed my Master of Business graduate degree, I am still influenced by artist like Timberland and Jay-Z who are mashing up with modern pop/rock artist. I plan to become a producer at the professional level to engage other musical artist of various genres to explore other musical possibilities, after all, a dynamic artist can capture a diverse audience of listeners.
