Cannon Fight: Return of the King!!!
On October 20th at Laura S Walker State Park, there's a Car Show and Fall Festival event going on! It's a two part event with the car show running from 1:00 - 4:30 and the fall festival beginning at 5:30. The festival should be fun for everyone! The Other Guys will begin playing around 7:00 that night! It only cost $2 PER FAMILY to get in and $5 for parking. The money all goes to upkeep for the state park and the Waycross Chamber of Commerce. "Welcome autumn with a car show from 1 to 4:30 PM. Starting at 5 PM, enjoy our fall festival with games, prizes, hayrides, campfire, bingo, cakewalk, haunted house and more. Support our Friends Chapter and visit our concession area for hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and home-baked treats."
We will be performing at 4:00pm on Saturday, May 19th at the Okefenokee Fairgrounds for the second annual Swamptown Getdown Music Festival.
The Other Guys and Coral Castle are playing Friday, March 30th at Freebird Live in Jacksonville Beach. Tickets are $10 at the door. Check out the advanced ticket sales in the link we've provided. We're expecting the show to be really good, small, and intimate. It will be great!

“Another hurdle has been cleared by up-and-coming Waycross band The Other Guys ... The Other Guys will share the bill with Jacksonville-based Indie Rock band Coral Castle at Freebird Live, a club owned by former Waycrossan Judy Van Zant. ... According to Rollins, a March 16 gig in Jacksonville by the band attracted attention and led to the invite to play the Freebird. "With only a day of notice," he said, "we performed at Brewster's Pit in Jacksonville as the opening act for a nationally touring band called NerVer, fronted by Casey Daniel, the bass player from the chart-topping band, Seven Mary Three. A couple of days later, we were invited to play a show at Freebird Live in Jacksonville Beach." Musician-journalist Josh Sharpe, who keeps a finger on the pulse of the regional scene, says The Other Guys is the first Waycross band to play at Freebird Live. ... They have played mostly locally and have gained a substantial following during their tenure.”
