We are The North Country, a local indie folk rock band with a psychedelic twist. We are based in Washington D.C. and have performed at venues such as Black Cat, R&R hotel, DC9, Velvet Lounge, and Wonderland Ballroom. Earlier this summer, we recorded some live tracks in the WMUC studio at the University of Maryland.

“Having first experienced The North Country’s music live in a small DC venue just a little over a week ago, I had an easy time enjoying it. Theirs is a smooth, patient sound, sophisticated and intricate. Not something I’m used to seeing from a local band. I admire each member’s musicianship.
