About
the year was 2003.started as an electronica band which a mix of heavy guitar rhythm and electronic loops and sampler, dark analog, this band is formerly created and formed by farridhusin and mr. morque (both was a line-up from an indie-pop band, we've).during their recording session that time, their commitment for this band was interrupted by a busy schedule for we've. It was music canteen launch and their band was one of the earliest band to join the website launch. Therefore, dark analog was being left behind without any further project.
It's 2006, three years after dark analog was formed, farrid was amazed by a band from Iceland , sigur ros and chino Moreno of Deftones new band, team sleep. he taught that If this two band being combines together, they'll be a mixture of ambient , electronica and rock music. Then he invited anas (mathematics) to play some loops and sampler. Farrid recorded 4 new songs and put it in a demo/preparation tracks cd and the demo tracks get some attention from listeners who did review the next lab is inside myspace profile (http://myspace.com/thenextlabisinside). Instead of that, we also get some invites to perform at Ipoh and Rawang. Therefore, this band really needs a full line-ups. He decided to invites adi (mistik/lost dreamer) on vocal and lead guitar , hafiz (lost dreamer) on bass and nick @ hayat (the muffins/perfumed flood stickers) on drums.
Using adi experiences, he do a liltle bit of change in the next lab music. He re-arrange the songs while bonxer put on some of his creative lyric. We recorded our first official release, analogical electronisme at farrid's home studio, lolipoptunes musix developer. And the cd is out now for sale.
on december 2006, adi and bonxer confirming their words to leave this band.at that time, the next lab is inside still got 2 more show to go on. one in kuala lumpur and the other for a silentt show in singapore.
and for that matters, the next lab could not make it for kuala lumpur and singapore.and the remaining line-ups that time were farridhusin, hayat and anas
but for now, they'll be a new journey for us. first, amey (molly's harmonic club) join us for couple of show and live recordings. but suddenly he also leave this band, quiting as a player but turns our to be our guitar technician now.
and for the line-ups, keoi (molly's harmonic club) and ayen (the radios) join the band as a synth & bass player.
