  Details

  Rumble In the Ancient City is a recurring MMA event featuring professional fighters. There are many amateur local fighters as well as professionals from out of town. The money goes to the Saint John's County Parks and Recreation Department, and has so far been used to provide scholarships for two teenage fighters. Previously, MMA has not been recognized as a sport and no scholarships existed for young athletes interested in it. To provide an even more awesome experience for the money, The Magistrate has teamed up with fight promoter Josh Rutgers to bring you a pre-fight concert! Doors will now open an hour earlier than usual (at 4 PM) and The Magistrate will be performing from 5PM until 6 PM, when the fights start. This will be the debut of many new members of the Magistrate after our recent struggles, and it is a sign of our ever continuing progress. If all of this sounds good to you, tickets are available ranging from $20 to $50. The $20 tickets are general admission and will NOT be available for presale. the different levels of $30 to $50 are VIP seating closer to the ring, and members of the Magistrate will be carrying these up until the show. This will be an awesome event, and our first show in Saint Augustine, so we hope to see all of you there!

  The Magistrate and other great bands play the Rockville Rumble. What is the Rockville Rumble, you ask? It's a battle of the bands hosted every year to determine which 10 local bands get to play Welcome to Rockville. We can't do it without the support of our fans, so if you'd like to see us sharing the stage with some big acts, come out and support us! Ask a band member for tickets.
