Bio
The Longest Day of the Year is a progressive folk/alt-country band from Boulder, Colorado. Paying homage to the traditional working class experience, they sing of hope and suffering, the hard truths and the good times, not to mention whiskey drinkin’.
t.Mule is on vocals and acoustic guitar and harmonica, Nicki Handy on mandolin, Josh Breland on the bass and Darin Graber behind the drums. Their music satisfies a diverse audience with its mix of heavy vocals, kicking rhythm, and thoughtful lyrics in edgy songs that stay true to an old-time sensibility. Dance tunes mingle with cow punk and slow waltzes. Each song blends honesty and lies, blood and bones. Each tale tells the woes of backbreaking work, dirt roads, and lovers' lullabies.
