It was a dark time for America. 8 years of GWB and his hentchmen had put the American public in a funk. And I'm not talking about the James Brown or George Clinton 'good' kinda funk. This was a depression. But there was change in the air. Something just had to change. Attitudes and priorities had to change. But most of all, the music had to change...

 Where was the fun?? Who was playing music with the sole intention of having fun??

 That is why now is the perfect time for a band like The Jackpot Club, who is ready to spread their flavor of rockin' swing and rockabilly music upon Southern California! Hatched from the semi-fertile mind of vocalist and guitarist Andy Winston (Citizen Fear, The Tickets, 'Lectric Chairs, MOJOMASTER!) who felt it was the perfect time to take these songs and this style back to the bars...to the people!

 But where would he find the like-minded souls to help his vision come to fruition? Well, he didn't have to look too far.....

 The first to drink the kool-aid was Miss Cindy and her big orange upright bass. Always serving the song, Cindy lays down  a foundation that is fat and full! The final piece of the puzzle is drummer Mariano Lusardi. An industry veteran for over 20 years, Mariano adds the backbeat and swingin' shuffles which are the glue of The Jackpot Club sound, and those rhythms certainly put the butts on the dancefloor.....

 Earthy and organic. Raw and real. Spirited, spicy, and a hell of a lot of fun, The Jackpot Club does not, and will not disappoint!
