The Homewreckers were formed in 1998 and were founded by singer songwriter/guitarist Michael Fitzsimmons.  Other original members were Donna Mingo and Cindy Clink.  Ron Bickel joined in 1999 and they appeared on live local compilations by Rooster Lollipop Records called "Axes and Snaxes" which was a live local release, and "Pajama Party".  This lineup then recorded the 2001 release "Firecracker" which received favorable reviews in the Riverfront Times and STLtoday.com.   Ron Bickel left the band in mid 2002 to pursue other musical projects and was replaced by Matt Potter for a short period of time. Bassist Donna Mingo also left later in 2002 and Ray Leach took over the bass duties for a couple of years.  Drummer Cindy Clink soon followed Mingo's departure.  Several recordings were scrapped during this period and Leach and Fitzsimmons retooled the band adding drummer Chris Keale who had played previously in Earl.  Another former Earl member, Daniel Niewoehner was added in 2005 on guitar.  Ray Leach left the band  due to heath issues in late 2005 and Dave Brickey took over on bass.  This is the current lineup and they have a few years under their belt with the same members giving them the consistency that was always needed.  They've been working on their current recording project called "Nostalgia" for two years and plan to relase the disc in 2010.  The band is putting the finishing touches on this studio project with local engineer Jack Petracek and look forward to releasing the album in the new year.
