Bio
The Freeze Tag Assassins were formed after fate brought together three like minded REAPER users almost by accident.
About
The Freeze Tag Assassins are a collaboration between three musically diverse guitar players who met on the REAPER DAW forum. All recording is done individually using REAPER and arranged via online collaboration.
Steeve Banks (PattonFreak1) - Guitars, Vocals, Synth Programming: Steve has an "anything goes" attitude when it comes to music. Rooted in metal and anything with Mike Patton, He is just as at home doing cookie monster vocals as he is singing in german to a pleasant polka tune. A true musical maniac. He is also the noise-monger of the group as he is constantly trying to get the most un-voicelike and un-guitarlike sounds. Known also to find what key a song is in and avoid it completely. Steve uses: Ernie Ball strings; Ibanez, Kramer and Agile guitars; Line 6 amps and effects; H.G. Fortune, Ugo, Krakli and EvM vsti synths.
Chris Bierman (Chris_P_Critter) - Guitars, Bass, Drum Programming: Chris is astudent of metal music and has been since the ripe young age of 5, when Santa Clause brought him Ozzy's epic "Bark at the Moon" LP for a Christmas present. From that point forth, Chris knew it was all metal, all the time. Influenced by many artist and genre's, Chris' style is modern, djenty, melodic, and pummeling whenever possible. Chris uses and abuses products from Schecter, Ibanez, Washburn, Line-6, Boss, Elixir, Planet Waves, Jim Dunlop, Anheuser Busch, Taco Bell, Phillip Morris, Pepsi and Hasbro.
Scott LePage (Shemp) - Guitars/Lead Guitar: Scott's background is mostly metal with a blues influence. Have been turned on to metal during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest) and early Metallica era in the early 80s, Scott's styles tend to stay mostly classic in the metal sense. Scott has played and recorded with the bands Hades, Mucky Pup, Angry Drunk Men, Nastasee and Texas Mojo. Scott uses Charvel, Gibson and Ibanez guitars, Marshall and Line-6 amplification and Digitech and Line-6 effects.
