Born out of the ashes of the 'mighty'Insects and The Entertainment comes Sk-1 led by lead guitarist Dave 'the Moog' O' Connell.

The Moog London's most renowned surf guitar busker formed the band with Achilleas whom he had met by chance.

Achilleas is a bassist and trumpetist who has played with the Dandy Warhols and the Soul Destroyers.

Achilleas intorduced the Moog to Soul Destroyers singer Sharon Jackson- who eagerly jumped on the SK-1 bandwagon
