In the winter of 2009, three friends got together to make the music they grew up loving to form The Driftin Outlaw Band. Aaron Courtney (drums), Jon Rust (guitar/vocals) and Jared Wallace (guitar) started writing new songs and quickly developed their Texas Outlaw Country Sound.
