The pounding, anthemic riffs in songs like Tickin’ and Slamma provide a foot-stomping feel, while songs like Locked Away and Shadow Dance show the rhythmic diversity that makes disbanned stand out from the rest of the rock genres. The bass and drums meld well together, with guitar and vocal melodies that complement, rather than detract, from the songs. A very nice first effort from this band, and a pleasant change from the norm!”
