The Dedringers are fast making a name for themselves in Texas with their compelling live shows. At the ripe old age of 20 Sean Faires and Jonny Burke have already been playing together for four years developing their craft under the influence of Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Steve Earle, Gram Parsons, Todd Snider, Guy Clark and a host of others.. Sean and Jonny work hard to uphold the traditions of their musical heroes. They are passionate about their music and believe in its power and ability to move the hearts and souls of listeners. “I would be embarrassed to play one of my songs in front of an audience if I did not believe that the words were there” says Jonny Burke co-founder of the group. “Those kids they have a passion and energy that too few acts have now. They write really unique songs. Are they as good as they will ever be? No, they are going to get so much better and that is exciting” says friend and mentor Hayes Carll. Performing as a duo the Dedringers captivate audiences with honest lyrics, succinct harmonies and tried and true musical chops. Muscle the band up with a rhythm section; add a couple of electric guitars and this band will rock you hard somewhere between early Wilco, and (electric) Neil Young. They are currently working on developing a full time rhythm section and preparing to record a collection of their songs
