Private Show: RETURN TO THE BATCAVE FESTIVAL 2014 - WROCLAW (POLAND) - 28-30.11.2014 Return To The Batcave Festival is DIY independent event which promotes crazy, spooky and twisted music from the music circle known as post-punk, coldwave, deathrock, gothic-punk, gothabilly and other related weird and experimental music genres, as well as those with a lighter music caliber with its direct roots in the 80's of the twentieth-century, and whose common denominator is the words "art" and "party". Gothic-punk movement is amazing visually and musically eclectic: combines into one the best and most fascinating music genres which have underground roots directly in the late 70's and 80's. “ With echoing, haunting and sometimes scratchy guitars to develop atmosphere, and more prominent basslines than traditional style gothic rock, Deathrock is a progression of the post-punk sounds from the late 70s, emerging first in the U.S with the likes of 45 Grave, Kommunity FK and Christian Death, and dealing with depression or disillusionment to themes of death and horror. London's gothic club, The Batcave, around the early 80s, supported and developed some of the band's early U.K. based influences, Alien Sex Fiend, Bone Orchard and Specimen among others and all of which contribute something to stylize the band's individual sound. Having played many of the European festivals over the last few years and with their debut album 'Smoke My Brain' released in 2009, featuring thirteen tracks, they are currently poised to release the follow up album later this year.”
