The Bama Gamblers / Press

“The Alabama-born rock ‘n roll band The Bama Gamblers have grown from playing covers in fraternity houses at Auburn University to recording their first full-length album and sharing the stage with the likes of The Dirty Guv’nahs, North Mississippi All-Stars, and Whiskey Myers. Their upcoming album, titled “Iron Mountain,” features 10 original tracks and will be celebrated May 17th, 2014 at their album release party at the Furniture Factory.”

“The Bama Gamblers sequenced songs on their debut album "Iron Mountain" to sound like a "perfect playlist for a good night out ... and then waking up in the morning," says singer/bassist Bo Flynn. Titled in honor of a railroad line famously robbed by Jesse James, "Iron Mountain" includes forays into Black Keys-esque radio-blues ("Footsteps") and Johnny Van Zant-style pickup-truck balladry ("The River").”

“The Bama Gamblers released their new album, Iron Mountain, last week. Buy it on iTunes here!”

“You guys sounded great last night. My only regret was that I wasn't recording when y'all nailed Jessica. In my 30 years @ the Supper Club you are only the 4th band to attempt to play that tune on our stage, the others were Telluride, Roadside & Derek Trucks. Pretty good company that you are in if you ask me!!”
