The Assent began 11/21/08 at the SLCC Battle of the bands. The name
"the Assent" reflects the group’s immediate rise to success. Drummer
Wes Furgason's technical drumming and detail is his trademark. Bassist
Adam Taylor, formerly of "Smooth like James"and prior owner of Drift
Wood venue in Logan, has put on hundreds of rock shows. Front man
Clint Stoker is known for unique rhythms and melodies that stick with
you. Together, they are the perfect combination of artistry and
technique.
