Someday, when were all looking down from space at our hollowed out world, we will recognize the things that will truly matter. Was it the times you chased the mighty buck, or tried to live up to the expectations of a society, or of a hovering father pointing his wand of apporval? Was it the times you stood upon a podium and taught greater minds, or allowed yourself to learn from those people a little dumber than you? Was it sitting back with your head phones ... blaring classic rock and roll. At the end of your life you will be old and weak and you'll remember times if triumph. The momentes when people told you that you did a good job, keep up the good work!!! Was it a 3 point shot at the end of regulation to tie the game? Was it hanging out with a friend, and writing a new song. You'll also remember the pain. When messages are unreplied and gestures drop unsung. When you loose. Did you live by science or did you live by faith and in the end which is a warmer blanket to die with. Or could you possibly live by something else. An artist devotes him self to channeling matters of the universe into unity ... as an expression of his most extreme emotions. Do you write lists and weigh pros and cons, or do you cross your fingers close your eyes and jump? To enjoy or to document. But what about hate? The voices and the gossip. Is there art in megolomania? The Sistine Chapel, the Holocaust. Can you make enemies in art? Absolutly. Hopefully in the end there will be a satisfaction for all. Music. Notes in unison. Vibrations of molecules in the air. Its pretty and something you grow to love. Haha oh yeah love. Its the underlined reason for it all.
