Terri Hendrix has lived, worked and played by the mantra “Own your own universe.” She has bypassed label offers and released all albums on her own Wilory Records. Owning her own universe has allowed Terri the liberty to make exactly the kind of free-spirited music that her fans across love her for. In terms of genre, she confidently touches on everything from folk to pop to blues to jazz. She shines in front of a few hundred fans or thousands at such world-renowned festivals as Newport, Kerrville and Austin City Limits. She’s also taught songwriting workshops across the country and is the proud co-writer of the Dixie Chicks’ Grammy-winning instrumental, “Lil’ Jack Slade.” She's currently working on two books and a new album.
