The vocals were delivered with a soaring intensity far greater than any recording the band has produced, with a noticably heavier mix of percussion driving through the set. THE 15th ANNUAL SUNDAY SIXPACK February 17, 2013 Between Rock and a Hotplate! That's right folks, the SUNDAY SIXPACK AT THE TOTE is back for it's 15th edition of beers, bands, beards and debauchery. It kicks off at 3pm with the complimentary BBQ masterchef courtesy of Admiral Farmér Jéff. And then just as you're wiping the sauce off your gob the first of six bands will launch into action with the duelling bass-doom monstrosity that is ROUSSEMOFF. Then we'll be serving up the slick rock melodeliciousness of SHADOWGAME at 4pm followed by our first band from South America, MANATARMS, playing their final show before heading back to Chile. At 6:30pm we'll be squeezing in front and centre for an audial onslaught from SYDONIA (and check out their hot new cd, "Waiting For Words That Don't Exist"). As the sun begins to fade and the shadows lengthen we'll kick our projector into gear as Melbourne's instrumental soundscape masters MUSHROOM GIANT hit the stage. And finally, to close the night out, you'll be lulled into a sub-conscious underworld domain courtesy of JAREK. Bring ya sunnies and a big hat and get your collective arses to the Sunday Sixpack at The Tote Hotel (71 Johnston Street, Collingwood) Sunday 17 February, 2013. $15 will buy you eight hours worth!!!
