“The front page headline of the Richmond Times Dispatch this morning should have read ... "LOCAL BAND DESTROYS POPULAR RICHMOND NIGHT CLUB" Local rockers Beth Justice, Rod McMordie, Kevin Brackett, Sean Mullins, and Mike James - collectively known as Sweet Justice - invaded Sharkys Bar this past Friday and Saturday nights, taking the very popular west end night club by storm. Brandishing microphones, guitars and drums like weapons of destruction, the band proceeded to take hostage the jam packed patrons of the club and rock them into submission with an arsenal of songs from bands such as Aerosmith, Poison, Guns N Roses, Blackfoot, Van Halen, Molly Hatchet, Ozzy Osbourne, ZZ Top, Blackberry Smoke, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi and The Scorpions, just to name a few. "They shook the foundation, loosened the rafters and caused mass mayhem in general", said one frequenter who was a witness to the scene both nights. No injuries have been reported at this time. ”
