Bio
Superhero Smith is a band that plays original tunes, plus lots of great rock covers, touching everywhere from Van Morrison to Foo Fighters, and several dozen other odd places in between. Simply put, they rock.
About
Superhero Smith was created when Brian Frommer, Mark Hunt, and Judson Levere, all songwriters and performers in their own right, decided to gang up on the music world. Shortly thereafter, they recruited Doug Clarke in the dual roles of drummer and enforcer. Their debut performance at the Thousand Islands Playhouse was met with much surprise from the unsuspecting audience. This was followed by much applause, and - more importantly - pyjamma-clad-actress dancing, which is always a good sign. Combining their disperate (and often desperate) talents and writing styles has resulted in the Superhero sound.
Along with the bevy of original tunes, which'll happen with three songwriters in the band, they also rock a tasty and varied selection of cover songs that can encompass anywhere from Van Morrison to Led Zep to Foo Fighters, and all points in-between.
They also don't take themselves too seriously. Music, yes. Themselves, no. Well, Maybe Doug....
