Many of us are artists and musicians. Many of us have the chance to live good lives with our families and friends each day and for years to come. But right now, one of us needs help. Wendell Rupert Alinea, an alumnus of Quezon City Science High (Quesci) was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia on August 2007. He survived three cycles of intensive chemotherapy, completed 2 years of maintenance therapy and remained in remission for 3 1/2 years. Like us, Wendell is a musician and a photographer. Last February, Wendell, suffered a relapse now needs bone marrow transplant. With this difficult news, his friends and batch mates from Quesci decided to organize a benefit event to generate funds for his treatment. With the help, Island Rock Entertainment (IRE), Quesci Batch '93 presents ROADTRIP: Of Lens and Music. This event is a celebration of the life and the art of Wendell Rupert Alinea and the strength of his creative will. It will be held at Quesci on May 14, 2011 (Saturday) and will showcase the photography of Mr. Alinea for bidding. An unplugged concert will follow featuring Stonefree, The Brew,
