Formed in leeds in 2008, Sound of sirens have spent the last two years building up a reputation as a stellar live band. with catchy, pop infused songs with a heavier, edgy undercurrent, the band have been fortunate to perform all over the U.K, and have had significant radio airplay. having just completed their first UK tour, the band are now working on their debut album,

“their showmanship is unquestionable and the atmosphere throughout their set is something pretty special. They sound a little like Fugazi and a little like Fighting With Wire owing a lot sound wise to late 90s chart rock which leads to a great deal of arms raised aloft and even a mid-set mock striptease from front-man Rob. It is obvious that Sound Of Sirens are a band who thrive in a live setting and they make the most of this evening. It is easy to be cynical about this kind of music but their performance is laden with hooks and singalongs and it is impossible not to feel involved as they end the evening with an onstage group hug to rapturous applause.”
