Soul Kata will be hittin' the Lucid lounge featuring some new tunes and some old favorites. We will be celebrating with the graduating UW class of 2011 which includes Katina Kope's baby sis! Soul Kata is an original R&B/funk/Pop group from Seattle and includes graduates from Cornish College of the Arts as well as the UW. Soul Kata started as a quartet in 2004 but have expanded to a 9 piece big band. They have played The Triple Door main stage, many festivals and venues around the area as well as The Art Zone, a local TV show hosted by Nancy Guppy.
