Originally from the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago, Soca Emperor's earliest musical influences were of calypso, reggae and R'n'B greats. He has worked with the likes of Precision Productions (GO INSANE), Reflex Music (BODY ROCKKAH) and Showkase Entertainment (CRUNKSO). The single (CRUNKSO) was pre-released in 2007 by radio DJs', Island Breeze 89.5fm (Toronto), www.megahertzmusic.com (Toronto), www.2kontagious.com (New York) who cater to the urban and soca music listeners. It has already developed a following of youth who enjoy his blend of music, with a online group of over 400 members 'Jay Will~ The Artist...The Entrepeneur...The Visionary' (www.facebook.com). (CRUNKSO) was feat on ''Megahertz Soca Session Vol 1 Mix CD'' (Toronto). This also earned him a spot on world's first Caribbean entertainment website www.toronto-lime.com (Toronto) as 2007 new soca artist; 2008 Trinidad Releases feat for (BODY ROCKKAH). In 2008 (GO INSANE) was debuted on Dj Dr Jay's Soca Therapy show Flow 93.5fm (Toronto) as most requested song by a new artist.  His 2008 Caribana release (GET LOW) was World Premiered on Dj Bass's Island Breeze 89.5fm (Toronto) and Dj 801735 show www.thatradio.com (Japan).
In 2008 Soca Emperor shared the stage with international artists Roy Cape All Stars, Shurwayne Winchester, Faye-Ann Lyons, Bunji Garlin, KMC (Trinidad), Problem Child, Zoelah (St. Vincent), Edwin Yearwood (Barbados), Baby Killa (Grenada) to name a few.
In 2008 Soca Emperor be releasing his Soca inspired EP titled MUSIKAL FUSION/SOUND REVOLUTION. The socially conscious and energy driven project, will consist of blending raga soca, hip hop, rock and afro-beat soul together. Soca Emperor has an inspiring and ambitious goal to bridge the gap between Caribbean and American artists. His vision is to have "Something for Everyone". He has a dream to inspire listeners all over the world to recognize his music, identify and enjoy. His course of action is to utilize the Musikal Fusion project to make positive, feel good music for all genres year round.
