More About The Artist
The legendary underground hard rock group Snot is back. All original members have joined together for the first time since 1998 when lead singer Lynn Strait was killed in a car accident. The hugely successful tribute album "Strait Up" (2000) ****was the last time the four worked together. Friends of the band came together and finished the then what was to be the sophomore release for Snot. The music had been done and they were waiting to do the vocals when the accident happened. Mark McGrath, Serj Tankian, Brandon Boyd, Corey Taylor, Max Cavalera and many other close friends took over the vocal duties for the album. The album went on to sell over 350,000 cds world wide and having had a top 10 video of "Angels Son" on MTV gave the bands some positives in a negative situation.
Snot will go into the studio this winter to record a new album and release it beginning of next summer. Until then, Snot will be doing a tour of the United States supporting Devil Driver starting with a headlining show at the Key Club on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA in September.
