“.... wide exposure to musicians like James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 and Louisville's own Playa. Yes, I'm talking about the trio who created songs like "Cheers to You" and "Don't Stop The Music" just name a couple of their hits. I called a member of the group, Jawann Peacock aka Smoke E. Digglera to see if he would give me a quote about a legend in the industry. We carried on a conversation and then he said "I was on Soul Train". I asked him did you say you were on Soul Train? He started to laugh and said "Yes". I sent a television crew to his home to talk to him about that experience.”
