Q: Dear Slim White & the Averys: We always enjoyed Ranch Party Round Up and hope it is not over for good. Please come back! We hope to see you soon. Sincerely, -Kris and Chris

A: Kris & Chris- The Averys have hosted the Ranch Party Round Up every month for the past three years. We decided we deserved a little vacation, and we're all hibernating during this cold weather. Slim is writing new songs, Ox and Rich are keeping busy with their other projects, Boots is preparing his life for the arrival of a new Avery, and Jake has gone into hiding against the requests of his lawyer. With the spring thaw, the world renews itself. Animals come out to play, flowers bloom, and the Averys dust off their guitars and pull out the old Buck Owens Records and get back to work. Look for the return of the round up sometime in the late spring. In the meantime, don't forget to visit the Shrunken Head every Friday for the Hillbilly Happy Hour, hosted by Brothers, and the Honky Tonk Happy Hour, hosted by Matt Monta. Hopefully those shows can scratch your itch until we get back up in the saddle again. Thanks for your question, and thanks for being a fan of the Averys and of the Round Up. -Cheers, The Averys
