Six Syllable Sin Bio
“Somewhere along the way we became a band” bassist Bruce Cook said during a Six Syllable Sin rehearsal break in mid December of 2007. No one in the band can say exactly when that happened but it did somewhere between late July of 2007, when the band first got together and December of 2007.
Six Syllable sin is a three-piece rock band rooted in the backcountry of small town mid Michigan with Scott Schmitt on guitars and vocals, Bruce Cook on bass and vocals and Jeff Smith on the drums. All are veteran musicians that have been in many local area bands over the years until they came together in 2007 to form Six Syllable Sin. Their music is edgy, melodic and memorable.
