Silent Nightmare is playing a show Thanksgiving Sunday (November 27th) at The Abbey Pub in Chicago! What better way to cap off turkey day weekend then to come rock with us! Doors are at 7 and we're sharing the stage with a bunch of other great bands! Tickets are $8+service fee (online) OR $9 if you come and get a physical ticket from us. Day of show is $12, so save yourself a few bucks. Spread the word, and we hope to see you all there! Bands we're playing with and line-up will be posted when we know.

Benefit Concert for Danielle - We would like to take a moment and introduce you to an amazing little girl, Danielle Levy. Danielle came into this world under much duress ten weeks early. Her poor little lungs not quite developed, unable to regulate her body temperature, a feeding tube going down into her stomach since she was too tiny to suck from a bottle and weighing only 3.6 pounds we were not sure how she would develop. As Danielle grew she did not turn over until 9 months of age and crawling was even further delayed, learning to do this with the aid of two physical therapists at age of 16months when other children would have been toddling around for many months already. Her legs became very apparent to be a bit deformed with the bones in her knees bulging inward and her feet curving, which is known as a Valgus Deformity; as well as, Hypotonia, or severely decreased muscle tone, is seen primarily in children. Low-toned muscles contract very slowly in response to stimulas and cannot maintain a contraction for as long as a normal muscle. Then as July was coming to a close Danielle had a seizure like episode that was so bad that it left her unable to stand for hours. With that Danielle started to go under a barrage of tests which left her with a whole new diagnosis that encompasses all of her problems, Cerebral Palsy. On October 1, 2011 a benefit will be held at big Daddy’s Sports Lounge, 3214 60th St, Kenosha , WI 53144 from 1pm until 8pm by Danielle’s charity, Danielle’s Blessings. We would so appreciate any gift or contribution in helping Danielle get the braces for her feet that she needs and making the physical and occupational therapies more affordable for her family. Please join us in trying to make a making a beautiful little girl’s life fuller.
