Elsa Nilsson will showcase brand new music, brand new arrangements of old music and a brand new edition to the band! Come join the excitement of this maiden voyage of combinations. The concert will take the listener through music from Nilsson’s upcoming CD "Already There Yet" that leads the listener through Brazil,Cuba, Spain, Turkey and the Baltic countries, creating a holistic view of where music came from. The jazz inspired harmonies, driving Sambas and the danceable odd time signatures from the Balkans create an unforgettable sound held together by the bands fine musicianship, original compositions and arrangements. Everyone in this culturally diverse band brings his or her own flavor to the music creating a cohesive thread in this giant cross cultural music exchange with Jazz at it’s core.
