it Burns Burns Burns…the ring of fire…has become the musical legacy of Johnny Cash…on Saturday February 25th at Midnight…Atomic Cowboy will commemorate the man in blacks 80th birthday…with a massive outdoor bon fire and the release of an 80 black balloon salute into the night sky…in the 3 hours leading up to the midnight hour…join in a raucous celebration of the spirit of the House of Cash !!! The Party starts at 8pm…showtime is 9pm.

An assemblage of choice local bands will perform a memorable 3+ hour live musical tribute…featuring; Trigger5, Butcher Holler, Reverend Matt, and The Twains…the stage show will be emceed by KDHX’s Greasers Lunchbox DJ Al Swacker…who will also spin rebel music throughout the night. This is NOT a night of impersonation…there are no look alikes…rather songs written by, for and about Johnny Cash… will be performed in a unique style…in the vein of a great compilation album…songs by family, cohorts, partners in crime, and artists who idolized him …songs by Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, Rodney Crowell, Steve Earle, and many more as well as original compositions will please one & all…as if Johnny himself were holding court from the balcony.

An outlaw print show hot off the presses of Tom Huck’s Evil Prints with a Johnny Cash theme will be on display and for sale at take home prices. Dressing in ALL BLACK is encouraged…show up at the door dressed in all black and get a drink ticket for your choice…a FREE shot of Jack Daniels or an icy cold PBR !!! Yee Haw…let’s just say that rounds on Johnny !!!
