Details

Every Year the East Linton Gala takes place. Floats parade from Phantassie, through the village and up to the park. Along with the floats, a pipe band, the village fire engine, old cars and tractors and strangely dressed up locals all join in. At the park the Gala Queen, who has been on her throne on the first float with her attendants, is crowned. Then there is music, dancing, the Law Race (up Traprain Law and back) and numerous stalls, along with food and drink. It's a great event and everyone in the area looks forward to it.
