Dublin Rockers The Minutes play their debut Dingle show Friday November 19th at McCarthys Bar. Already confirmed to play at this years Other Voices the band are playing a pre-Other Voices show in this intimate venue. Two excellent acts will support them on the night, Stuart Wilde and Lineage Krew.

Dublin RocknRollers The Minutes play their debut Dingle show Friday November 19th at McCarthys Bar. Already confirmed to play at this years Other Voices the band are play a pre-Other Voices show in this intimate venue.

After a year long residency at Dublin live staple, Whelans, and several prestigious support slots (including Supergrass and a tour with The Von Bondies) The Minutes have developed a unique rock n’ roll show to call their own.

For one of Dublin’s must see live acts, the time came to record their debut album and in October of 2009 the three-piece headed to Marcata Recordings in upstate New York. Together with producer Kevin McMahon the band have crafted a ten track album that bottles the energy of their live sets. The record blasts through one foot stomper to another, from the two minute rawness of Secret History, to the crashing drum solo on Believer, right up to live favorite In My Time Of Dying.

Debut album 'Marcata' is due for release February 2011

Stuart Wilde

Stuart Wilde, with his morbidly entertaining lyrics and foot percussion beats is making his way back to MacCarthys for a second session. He's really looking forward to playing Dingle again and is hauling in a specially made foot drum for the event. Last time he was around the Beo Binn crew filmed him in Balintaggart House.

Tralee rappers 'The Lineage Krew' will be coming over the hill for the first time to play a short hip-hop slot. With traditional Irish sounds they rap over it in urban rap and Spanish fusion. Have a look at their gorgeous track and video for 'En Esta Family'.
