WVC TRiO +1 @ TAICHUNG JAZZ FESTIVAL

WVC Trio was formed by Tay Cher Siang, Adam Osmianski and Jon Cavendish in year 2004. The group was active in Pittsburg and Morgantown until year 2006. The group shifted based to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the return of Cher Siang to his homeland.

The group toured in seven cities within Malaysia, and Singapore in year 2008. This was followed by the recording of their first album, comprising of originals written by Cher Siang and Adam, with re-arrangement of Mandarin Classics "Tien Mi Mi".

Vincent joined WVC TRiO in year 2009 when the group toured TianJin and GuangZhou, China. This new combination later recorded another album titled "Eleven", with the additional of New-York based saxophonist, Julian Chan. The group had a full house concert at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center in June, and went to tour in six major cities within Malaysia.

In recent 2010, the group expanded their tour to seven cities in Malaysia, Arts Festival organised by National University of Singapore, and seven cities within China namely: GuangZhou, ShenZhen, NanJing, WuXi, SuZhou, ShangHai, and TianJin.

In musical context, the group combines traditional interpretation of jazz, and explores many musical genres from Swing, Brazilian Samba, to unclassified styles.
