Conceptual power pop that floats on the sweetest melodies and spikes at the razors edge.
The songs are nostalgic; based on love, insecurity, optimism, depression, motivation & strength. There is a vibe that only indie power-pop can supply but is certainly influential.
The music is dynamic and flows spaciously through the melodies and crunchy guitars that emit from the speakers.
Their records have unmistakable hints of bands with distinction, such as Weezer, The Pixies, Letters To Cleo, etc. However TOB have a charm of their own and are hard to lump into any category.
Formed in 2004 by Noelle LeBlanc formerly of international touring rock band Damone. (RCA, Island Def Jam)

Damone has toured with Buck Cherry, The All American Rejects, The Ataris, Sum 41, Butch Walker, The Wildhearts, 69 Eyes, etc. They've played at Donnington/Download Fest, Warped Tour, opened for Bon Jovi at the Boston Garden, Joan Jett in NYC, etc.
Their music has been featured in television and video games: Madden '07, Freaky Friday, Rugrats The Movie, Veronica Mars, etc.
They've performed on CD USA and Cartoon Network.
Since Noelle was 11 she wrote and recorded songs on her 4-track. On Damone's time off from the road she put together a DIY/hand pressed album which she gave out to friends and supporters. The songs were low-budget and non-chalant. They were stories of suburban teen woes that used Casio keyboards and broken xylophones to express the complexity of teen angst and the growing pains that came along with it.
Damone was let go by their second major label and they went their separate ways. Noelle took this opportunity to seek out a more peaceful and wholesome lifestyle. She moved to the country and wrote an albums worth of music. When she returned after a soul cleansing journey she recruited her brother Danny to back her up on drums and together they hit the studio after a few months of pre production.
The songs convey strength and determination. They are heartfelt pop jams with colorful imagery and a keen sense of wonder. The drums are a solid platform laid out to support crunchy guitars, singing solos, catchy melodies and a voice that belts out epic choruses.
They went on to play shows locally for a couple years, not running the full gamut but getting out there nonetheless. They've shared the stage with Harvey Danger, Anthony Green, Dear Hunter, Herra Terra, DIEMONDS, Spring Heeled Jack, etc.
They went back to the writing board when they were joined by good friend and mastermind Alex Fiorentino. He dug into his catalogue of ideas to share with the band which they adopted and pieced together what is now their sophomore full-length GOLDENHEART.
It's powerful and driving with synth hooks and swooning melodies. The songs are about growing up and looking back. Trying to move forward while reflecting on the past. Lost love and new found glory.
Though there is a positive overtone the record reaches a dark place unveiling struggle and tragedy. A sense of loss and downtrodden frustration takes over while curiosity and intellect is peaked.
