VIKING SKULL Viking skull reluctantly formed in 2003, boasting the groove of Black Sabbath, AC/DCs libido and adding to this Roddy Stone’s whiskey drenched tortured and downright dirty vocals, has forged an uncompromising brand of classic metal of their very own.

A mixture of gratuitous partying, self-indulgent drinking, and outrageous flirtation was the catalyst of their first 2 albums Chapter 0ne (04) and Born in Hell (05). However 2007 saw Viking Skull adopt a much more powerful, darker and certainly more sinister approach to their music, with the critically acclaimed albums Chapter Two and Doom, Gloom, Heartache and Whiskey, featuring new band members Jess Margera and Dom. The misery of heartache and countless years on the road touring with a distinct lack of support from a record label forced Stone’s song writing to mature and evolve, resulting in the whole band adopting a more professional insight.

As the years have passed, Viking skull have lost their minds to alcohol, fought with each other tirelessly, misplaced a few band members and caused chaos and disorder wherever they go. Invariably their shameful antics caught the attention of ‘Jackass’ star Bam Margera after Skull landed the main support of ‘HIM ‘on their 2004 tour. Bam was an instant fan of Viking Skull and later invited the band to appear in his US show ‘Bams Unholy Union'. Bam also incorporated the Viking Skull song, The Hidden Flame in the soundtrack for his film ‘Where the fuck is Santa?'. He was also the main director, along with Joe Frantz for 2 of Viking Skull’s videos; Blackened Sunrise and Hair of the Dog. Bam even found the time to make an appearance in Hair of the Dog, which was shot in West Chester USA, immediately after supporting ‘Clutch’ on an East Coast tour of the USA.

Doom Gloom, Heartache and Whiskey has been released world wide to critical acclaim through Powerage/Candlelight Records and we are confident that the best is yet to come.
