Bassist Nick Salisbury and I will be part of the Fete de la Musique, a day of music sponsored by the Alliance Francaise of Mpls./St. Paul. Begun in the 1980s in Paris, the Fete de la Musique marks the summer solstice with a series of free musical performances presented outdoors. A variety of Twin Cities musicians will perform mini-sets, with an MC hosting the event and offering up French trivia questions with prizes between sets. Fellow singer-songwriter Katy Vernon will also be performing. Free.
