Lonesome Locomotive is driven by remarkable songs that cut across genres and pull on many different emotional strings to create a sound that is layered, direct, and poignant. The music has a feeling of being instantly classic, fresh and danceable all at once. LL steams into jams, but is not a jam band. Their improvisations benefit from the superb musicianship of lead guitarist Brian Byrnes and bass master Mike Meagher, and are hoisted up by the driving rhythms of drummer Erin Cassidy and guitarist Michael Rosen. Together they achieve a sound that is stripped down, yet rich and strong.

Born October 9th, 1981 near Santa Cruz, California and beginning a soul-full journey through the sounds of Motown early on, Robert Meade has lived on the East coast (NYC) and the North West for the past 8 years. He has been writing and recording songs for over 10 years and touring for 4 years, entertaining all types of crowds in all types of venues (concert halls to cafes, pubs to dance clubs, festivals to fine restaurants) with a broad range of material and a unique, ever-changing sound and a strong stage presence.

Robert has performed and worked with quite a few musicians over the years including: Al Jardine of the Beach Boys, Richie Cannata of Cove City Sound Studios in New York City, Everest of Vapor Records, Don Latarski of Crescent Records and James Book of the Flies and Top Secret Records.
