MiKA has been singing since the ripe age of 5 and was born & raised in Harlem, NYC. Her love for music began as most youth, listening to her parents play all those old school tunes like Earth Wind & Fire, Chaka, Stevie Wonder, Teena Marie, Gladys Knight & the list goes on. She has recorded with local artists as well as artists from around the world. MiKA is a Singer/Songwriter/Actress & loves the arts as a whole. She is looking forward to working with artists from all genre's of music. MiKA is currently performing at live venues around the US, she recently embarked on a European Tour & is working on a World Music EP due for release in Spring 2014.

The name Konkoction reflects the Eclectic blend of music this band provides. You can expect anything from Sinatra to Bob Marley and a guarantee to keep your guests on the dance floor or in each others arms. With countless bands on the market today, you can clearly see that most are the same (Big bands with complete horn sections, 4 back-up singers and so on). We believe as with most things in life, less is more. Konkoction operates from a single pianist or Saxophonist up to a 12 piece band. You will enjoy the experience and appreciate the vibe.
