Bio
Shakhan began in London in 1995. Its founder Davyd Homan had been a singer-writer for some time and is the mainstay. He was joined by his wife Shoshanah for its its earlier years. Shakhan released their debut album 'The System' in 2004, a collection of 10 protest songs. This met with some reaction to its lyrical content, especially to 'Silent Screams'.
From 2005 in Australia, Shakhan chiselled away at recording technique and writing new material. The result being a double release in March...

Not happy with our debut album we have remixed it and re-released it as "THE SYSTEM - REMIX). Some songs added in their simpler, acoustic version. 3 new tracks: 'Caroline', 'Touch Base' and 'G-d the Weaver'
FORGOTTEN TREE - with 18 new songs. Half in band version and half in their acoustic.
