“Seventh Veil, il nome dello strip club holliwoodiano dove i Mötley girarono il videoclip di "Girls Girls Girls". Ed ecco arrivare l'EP d'esordio di questi hard rockers veneti, intitolato "Nasty Skin". Si comincia con la carica hard rock di "Nasty Skin", basso e batteria che creano un supporto massiccio alla linea vocale fino all'esplosione dell'accattivante refrain. Buona l'energia sprigionata dagli assoli delle chitarre. "Rock N' Roll Veils" mette in campo un bel riffing corposo e graffiante, senza farsi mancare l'orecchiabilità e l'immediatezza che portano subito a canticchiare il ritornello. L'elettricità corre sicura sulle 6 corde dei Nostri, trasformandosi in coinvolgenti parti soliste. Una parola per descrivere "Jack N' Roll": ESPLOSIVA!!Si fanno avanti i coretti nel refrain, e la potente energia dell'hard rock sprizza da ogni singolo strumento. “Sono italiani, e nonostante la distanza, metrica e temporale, dalla Los Angeles delle orge e della dissolutezza è ancora una volta colpa dei Mötley Crüe! “Esce l'1 giugno 2012 per l'etichetta Atomic Stuff Nasty Skin, l'EP d'esordio dei Seventh Veil. Il prodotto, fa intravedere tutte le potenzialità della band e immerge l'ascoltatore, grazie anche a un'ottima produzione, in una straordinaria atmosfera hard rock anni '80. I pezzi dimostrano tecnica abbinata ad energia da vendere, con i chitarristi Holly e Jack che duettano saggiamente tra riff massicci e graffianti. Molto bene anche il bassista Jeff e il batterista, e bella la timbrica del cantante Steven, totalmente a suo agio con le melodie. Il primo brano, Nasty Skin, si dimostra un pezzo molto fresco e capace di ricordare band recenti come i Reckless Love. RN'R Veils è invece un brano sullo stile di band come Motley Crue. Chiude Jack N' Roll, brano che farà le fortune di questi ragazzi. Ottimo EP denso delle giuste sonorità, del giusto stile e del giusto rock. “Named after West Hollywood's famous strip club (Nikki Sixx suggested the name to the Italian band' singer when signing autographs at Sunset Strip Music Festival last year), SEVENTH VEIL introduce themselves with this 3 song EP, but some of the guys already played together in the past in a band called LASTRIDE. No big surprise when it comes to the influences as you'll find some "Ten Second To Love" guitar riff in "Rock'n'Roll Veils" and more generally lots of 80s hard rock references ("Nasty Skin" has a bit of a DOKKEN touch in its chorus), but SEVENTH VEIL also gets closer to punk'n'roll on "Jack N' Roll". Short but promising. Keep your eye on the money, I mean on this Verona Crew!”
