Sender is a 4 piece rock band from Australia and has been described as somewhere between Muse, silverchair, Snow Patrol, and Incubus. Melodic vocals, heavy guitars.

Starting in 1995 aged 13, the band developed a large catalogue of songs, releasing in 2001 their 1st EP 3556 (a completely self funded,produced and engineered recording) under the name ZENYTH.

2002 the band won the first MusicOz national band comp attracting Sony Music and an international signing in 2003.

May 04 a 5 track self-titled EP was released selling around 5,000, lead track "You're on fire" gained national radio/tv airplay and the band completed 70 + gigs inc supporting Hoobastank, Switchfoot and Tenacious D and national tours with Killing Heidi and The Screaming Jets.

Early '05 the band demoed 15+ songs for Sony and after much discussion late '05 Sender asked to be let go from their contract. Sony agreed putting the band back in full control to produce and record their debut album themselves penciled for release mid 07. www.sendermusic.net
